J-B Weld Red Hi-Temp Silicone Gasket Maker & Sealant is an RTV (Room Temperature Vulcanized) silicone gasket maker designed for use in mechanical assemblies where the existence of continuous high temperatures of up to 285ºC are reached and/or intermittent temperatures reaching 340ºC might exist. Upon curing, which occurs when the product is exposed to air, the silicone forms a tough, waterproof, seal on most surfaces. Fuel, diesel, oil and other chemicals resistant. It will not shrink or crack, resists weathering, is sensor safe and is great for many automotive applications including valve covers, timing covers, exhaust manifolds, radiator and cooling system repairs, water pumps.
